Oceanside Townhome with Watersports at Fingertips!

Great pad for divers and beach goers….…

This place was perfect for us -- with a combination of sea, pool, fresh water shower, and gazebo for reading and laying low. Shaggy's personalized dive service (associated) was truly personalized and we hit the local reefs (shore dives) and also some fabulous boat dives, too. Outer reef on0site is fab, and close to Macabuca (dive site and bar/restaurant). Speaking of restaurants, etc, Macabuca/Cracked Conch are close by, a place called Vivo is definitely worth checking out (walking distance) and less-than-ten minutes away by car is Cemetery Beach, where we hung out to chill (top of 7-mile beach). Friendly rays and a nurse shark on location there for snorkelers. I wish I could upload a picture of both of them face to face in the same frame. Great time. Would love to take my son back to get dive certified with Shaggy and spend another chill week at a super West-End location. Far out.

We truly enjoyed this condo! It was close to a really good restaurant that had great drinks, food and diving! It was also super close to the turtle farm and not far from Govenor’s beach. The host was super responsive, nice, and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again!

This place was great, we were 7 and each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen ans living room area were great, pool is awesome.

We stayed at Shaggy's for our second week on Grand Cayman. It was everything we expected. Beautiful pool and location. Great kitchen that was well stocked. Quiet neighborhood.

Shaggy’s home was the perfect spot for our vacation! The swimming pool was amazing, offering a stunning ocean view. Plus, the diving and snorkeling were just steps away from the property. The bathroom had been recently remodeled, and it was both clean and modern, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Shaggy was a wonderful host! His love for diving is unmatched so much so we’ll return with the kids so we can experience it for ourselves.

We had the absolute best time staying at Shaggy’s! The location exceeded our expectation. We also decided to try scuba diving for the first time. We cannot imagine a more experienced, patient, and fun instructor than Shaggy. We had no intention of diving while there, but we’re so glad we did, especially with Shaggy. Whether it’s your first time diving and you’re skeptical (like I was out of fear), or you’re experienced and want to see all the best spots on the island, you have to dive with Shaggy! In addition to this, we enjoyed getting to know the other family staying on the third floor. So grateful this is the place we chose to stay on Grand Caymen!

My new favorite home away from home that links me to beautiful beaches, beautiful ocean life, and meeting beautiful people!! Please do book here it’s peaceful and was wonderful to meet people from all over the world. It’s quiet and the pool is lovely and you can even grab some wonderful snorkeling or diving right out the back door! It’s so amazing. Also a nice restaurant next door. Scuba for life!!! 🐙

Great experience at Shaggy’s place. Really enjoyed a dsd dive with shaggy and a north sound tour on his boat. Really glad i chose to stay at his place!

Great time at Shaggy’s. Everyone I associated with from Shaggy’s Personalized Diving was extremely accommodating. I had a change in guests- done. I hadn’t rented a car & needed a scuba scoop up-done. Shaggy even arranged for a taxi to get me back to the airport. Diving with Shaggy (and Gary) was wonderful. They’re super knowledgeable, experienced, and know the extensive dive sites on Cayman. We asked to dive w sharks- no problem! Wreck dive, sure! I asked if we could go for lionfish- yep! I felt safe, increased my depth range, and didn’t have to be captain contingency- shaggy’s took care of it & I actually got to relax. Thank you all!

We had a great stay at Shaggy's! Great location, beautiful diving, Shaggy and his team were very friendly and welcoming. Parking our car was no problem and it was nice to have a yummy restaurant in walking distance. It was close to many popular attractions while still being a nice and quiet condo complex.

Definitely one of my best vacation decisions.. Staying at Shaggy’s and diving with him was amazing. I loved the Personalized diving so much that I did 2 new certifications. I gained so much confidence. Shaggy, thanks for not holding my hand… but instead having my back. The West Bay Area is definitely a favorite. Shaggy’s condo was comfortable and clean. The pool was perfect and the reef and wall just outside the condo were stunning! The restaurants next door have great food/drink and awesome sunsets. Ro and her hubby Dave were inspirational. I pray my journey brings me back

Perfect location, steps away from diving or swimming in the sea, away from the bustle of 7 Mile (which BTW is only 5 1/2 miles long) but close enough to quickly get there. The accommodations are very comfy, cool air & nice bed. Do a night dive thru Shaggy if you can. Memorable. I’ll be back.

There's no doubt that this place is a great place to stay and a real bargain. Shaggy is a great host with all sorts of local knowledge, and wonderful tips on diving and snorkeling in Grand Cayman. If you want a one-of-a-kind experience without spending more than a month's salary, you're going to want to stay with Shaggy. The pool is perfect and you can dive and snorkel right off the beach. And, it's walking distance to one of the best bars in the West Bay. All in all a 10.

Shaggy was a great host. His buddy Gary was also exceptional taking us out on a dive showing us around. I highly recommend dining at Alfresco's for local beach front dining. Macabuco has the best sunset on the island and is directly next door to the stay. If you are a diver, you won't want to miss out on this experience.

Awesome airbnb! We are divers and wanted to see the best Cayman's dive sites in our short 5 days stay. The weather that week wasn't great but Shaggy, the owner, made sure we dove Kittawake right after we landed by arranging the boat and picking us up. We had 2 awesome dive the first day before the bad weather arrived. Despite big swell, Shaggy made the best out of the conditions for the remaining days. We dove the best sites, went Lionfish hunting (caught 5 and made a delicious ceviche), learn how to scooter dive seeing multiple sites in the same dive. I have dived for 30 years all over the world but i learned so much and made so many awesome dives with new experiences in Cayman. So this is not just your average beachfront airbnb with bbq and a pool. It includes a free tank a free and house reef. The best restaurant on the island next door "Cracked conch". It also include Shaggy's wonderful friendship, boat and fun dive experience. They are other cheaper dive shops that we also tried and it was nothing compare with diving with Shaggy. So go for it. You won't regret! The neighbourhood is what you would expect from an island trip, quiet, nature and beautiful. 7 mile beach area looks like Miami or Florida. Book here and enjoy! Needless to say, we will be back. Thanks Shaggy for the wonderful adventures.

Excellent, especially for divers! The place is right on the coast and you can dive right off the shore. Shaggy was a great host, had great recommendations for the island and we had a wonderful boat dive with him and his operation. Will definitely be returning! If you are a diver, you must stay here.

Shaggy’s place was just what we were looking for. Great space and away from the crowds. Don’t miss out on a snorkel tour or dive with Shaggy. We were welcomed by neighbors and invited for drinks at sunset. It was easy to hop on and off the public bus and affordable. We felt we didn’t need a car. When we go back to Cayman we’ll look for A room at Shaggy’s. We shared kitchen and living space with the other guests and that worked out fine.

Hands-down the best AirBnB experience I have ever had. The condo itself is spacious, super clean and has everything you need. Great kitchen, comfy bedroom, and fast internet. Pool area right out your door and steps to the water. There is an incredible restaurant two doors over and a waterfront tiki bar that quickly became our favorite spot. We loved the accommodations and Shaggy helped us arrange snorkeling gear as well - to snorkel the incredible reefs right off the back of the condo! We were so sad to leave... we’ll be back next year for sure. Thank you for an incredible AirBnB experience!

This rental was fantastic. Picture perfect location on a private beach, pool, tub...etc. West Bay is absolutely stunning close enough to everything but tucked back perfectly so you feel like you're literally in your own slice of paradise.

I booked this as a last minute dive trip and couldn't be any more thrilled with the experience. The host Shaggy was exceptional...what a gem! He was super accommodating, knowledgeable, and you can literally wake up roll out of bed and dive right there on the water. Shaggy also has a boat and dive shop and can tailor a custom trip with you. As a guest you get 10% off booking with his company too.

The condo was spacious, sparking clean, well appointed, large kitchen, multiple floors & bathrooms on each, patio, grill, beach, pool....so ahhhhhhmazing.

I highly recommend this place...seriously lucked out. I will definitely be back:)
