Food scene
Agua Restaurant
Modern, sleek interior with waterfront seating in the heart of Camana Bay. A fusion between Italian and Peruvian food. The ceviche is amazing. The ceviche trio is recommended as it allows three options to try. Just beside them is one of Cayman’s newest cocktail bars, Next Door. An elegant speakeasy, often with live entertainment in the evening.

Bàcaro
Situated at the Yacht Club, the perfect place to relax and watch at the boats sail in and out. A nautical decor in the restaurant helps set the mood. Italian venetian style menus mean small plates, great for sharing. The Polpette in Umido (beef and port meatballs in tomato sauce) are an island favourite.

Grand Old House Cayman
A 100 year old plantation house located on the water just beyond George Town, with stunning colonial decor. This is perfect for sunset views. They have a delicious lobster thermidor and one of the best wine cellars on the island.

Morgan's Seafood Restaurant
An island institution with panoramic views of the yacht club, this light, airy, casually elegant European seafood restaurant is bound to win you over. A beautiful spacious atmosphere with towering ceilings and a comfortable deck area. The catch of the day of the day is always a great option, however the veal schnitzel is exceptional.

Presents an impressive contemporary Italian menu in a sleek upscale interior and canopied patio with breathtaking views of the infinity pool to Seven Mile Beach and the Caribbean sea beyond. They are well known for their lobster ravioli.

Calypso Grill Cayman Islands
A favorite for many, you will be able to have a very wide variety of delicious dishes ranging from Caribbean style to Mediterranean. The atmosphere is cozy with Caribbean colors. The champagne lobster is tantalizing, however stay for dessert as this restaurant is most famous for its sticky toffy pudding.

Ristorante Pappagallo
A classic Italian restaurant, nestled within a nature reserve featuring a lagoon where you may spot some of the local fauna. They also boast their own collection of stunning Macaw. The Ossobuco Milanese is possibly one of the most delicious risotto on island, and definitely ask the servers for recommendations and wine pairing.

Road Trip
As you drive out you will find numerous other beaches, each with its own unique vibe. Smith Cove is a small alcove where you can see locals jumping off the rocks and into the water, further beyond that you have Spott’s Beach which is turtle nesting, if you go early in the morning with snorkeling gear you can get the opportunity to see them. As you drive further around the island you have Colliers for some quiet serenity and if you are feeling adventurous, Barefoot Beach which has some of the better of the beaten path photography opportunities.
In terms of sight seeing and excursions around the East Side of the Island, you have Pedro St James which is the oldest historical house in the island that can give you an insight into the history of Grand Cayman. As you head out further you will pass some blow holes, if you keep an eye on the water and see plenty of waves make sure to give this area a visit. The Queen Elizabeth botanical gardens will provide a stunning 1hr long nature trail with locally curated gardens and some of the local wildlife such as turtles and blue iguanas.

Stingray City Cayman Islands
A series of risen sandbars off the Northwest coast is home to the Cayman Island’s gentle and curious stingrays. Historically, the stingrays would gather at the shallow sandbars as fishermen would clean their catch and toss the entrails over board. As this practice turned consistent, the stingrays would always return. Nowadays, private charters and group tours bring guests to Stingray City. Stingrays return regularly for a meal and to receive kisses, and kissing one grants you 7 years of good luck. With calm open sea and friendly rays to swim with, stingray city is a charming spot for everyone to visit.

Cayman Crystal Caves
Cayman Crystal Caves have formed over millions of years. Over time, as sea levels changed and land began to rise, rooms began to form through water erosion, making caves. Within these rooms spectacular stalagmite and stalactite crystal structures began to form, as rain water dripping through the limestone ceiling of the caves left calcium deposits behind. Tours are approximately 1 ½ hours and take you through the surrounding tropical forest area and 3 caves spectacular.

Cayman Turtle Centre
The Turtle Center operates as a wildlife sanctuary and educational facility. They have a nature walk where you’ll be able to see some indigenous flora and fauna of the island, an aviary for all the colorful birds here and of course, Turtle pods. The smaller turtles are in shin deep water where you are welcome to climb in and hold them and the adult turtles reside in the lagoon where you can snorkel with them. There is also a pool and waterslide. I would also recommend to enjoy lunch at Macabuca which is located across the road from the turtle Centre, right on the water’s edge with beautiful views and great Caribbean food for lunch.
