Seven Mile Beach 2BR | Beach walk, kayak + tennis

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property to others. The location on Seven Mile Beach was fantastic, making it incredibly easy to get everywhere. The beach, great restaurants, and Camana Bay were all conveniently close by.

Kevin was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We also loved having access to the amenities, especially the paddleboards and kayaks, which were a wonderful bonus and added to our overall experience.

While the apartment is a little dated, this is reflected in the price, and we felt it offered excellent value for the location and amenities provided. We were extremely happy with our stay and would gladly return in the future.

This property is in a great location, directly on SMB and close to many amenities. Kevin is a very accommodating and responsive host. I had read another review stating the pull out mattress was very uncomfortable so Kevin provided a brand new mattress pad that made a big difference. The property is dated, but we were fully expecting this based on the description and reviews. Still, the unit was kept clean and comfortable and Kevin even left us some complimentary coffee and snacks. As other reviewers have noted, the beach area is quite small but private, and very easy to access the rest of SMB. It is worth noting that the Mariott close by is currently restoring their beach and beach access is closed. This means a detour to the road to continue along up Seven Mile. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. We used the opportunity to grab a coffee at the Mariott before our morning beach walk. This unit is a great price point for being directly on SMB. Overall a great experience!

Awesome and beautiful grounds. Ideal location. The screened in porch was a plus and only steps to the large grand pool. Maureen was always responsive from the beginning to the end. We would love to stay here again. We highly recommend this unit.

We had some challenges with locating the property and checking in, but things were very nice otherwise. The physical address from the Airbnb address was incorrect and caused confusion with the customs officer at the airport. The property is located inside Plantation Village at 323 West Bay Road [not at "West Bay Road 33"]. The property owner was very responsive and clarified quickly, but this detail should be corrected in the listing to make the process smoother.

Check-in was 4 hours later than originally communicated [5:00 instead of 1:00]. The front desk had no record of our reservation so they had not cleaned the room prior to our arrival. We were able to store our luggage and go to the beach so it was not the end of the world. However, the added stress is not needed after a full morning of travel.

Some positive notes - nice swimming pools, free use of paddle boards and bikes. Steps from the beach. Very walkable.

I recommend renting your own snorkel gear.

Our family stayed at Plantation Village at Maureens place and the location was great, steps away from the beach, local restaurants, 5 minute drive to Georgetown, a 10 minute walk to Camana Bay for a great shopping experience and Christmas Decor. We have stayed at Plantation Village prior to this stay and we will continue coming back to Paradise and will most definitely stay at Plantation Village again.

Great place near a lot of restaurants and a short walk to many beach access points on 7 Mile Beach. Very close to the airport as well! Place was pretty spacious and pools were well maintained! Check in and out was extremely easy and hosts were very good at answering all questions! We plan to book again!

exactly as described! great location. beach and pool are steps away from the unit. had everything we needed to prepare homemade meals as the island is quite expensive. unit is spacious and was comfortable enough for us as we were 3 adults and 2 children. walkable distance to camana bay and other restaurants and shops. definitely recommend, would stay here again, no doubt! communication with Maureen was great also :)

Location is fantastic. All the beaches at Caymans are public, but our little beach felt so private. Only 1-2 min walk from the apartment. Beautiful white sand, crystal clear water good for shallow snorkeling. Bring water shoeswith ypu, lots of coral reef there. Near by is Mariott hotel and Hampton, highly recommend eating there. Mariott had lobster special on Wednesday. Local pubs across the street have poor service and low quality food, so dont waist money there. Apartment was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. Price very good for what you get. Plenty of white towers, changes once during our 1 week stay. Screened patio with swimming pool just behind palm trees. There is another pool close to the sea which has some shade. Full size refrigerator, working stove if you want to do some cooking. AC was working great. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet and private space despite being in the apartment complex. Front desk very friendly. Planning to return in the future.

Great location! This property is located close to restaurants, grocery stores and Camana Bay. It has two pools and the littlest private beach - erosion took the sand / beach away years ago but thankfully I hear from locals it’s slowly getting better in this particular area of town. The host was very responsive and accommodating- for example there was an ironing board but no iron and after texting the host, an iron was brought to the property promptly. We had a rental car so it was easy to move to public beaches. This property has a sleeper sofa, though the mattress is not comfortable when expanded into a bed, it was fine for one person sleeping on top of the sofa cushions - so without extending the mattress. The kitchen has everything you need for light cooking. We enjoyed our stay and it was great for our family. We used the free kayaks and that was fun.

We love the Cayman Islands. This is a great place to stay and the staff are very accommodating.

PV is a great base for a stay, in between Camana Bay and Georgetown. Grounds and staff are 5 star and Maureens place is well stocked well with everything that's needed, we found that nothing was missing. Well worth the price for Grand Cayman which is generally pricey, this is one of the few 2 bedroom units that are still affordable and we would happily return to their place for another vacation or longer term stay.

Great stay! The unit was as described and the bed's mattress was great to sleep on. The complex is at the bottom of the "7-mile beach" and though it has a very small beach, other larger ones were close by. Great restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Recommend this location to all!

Maureen’s place is in a great location on Seven Mile Beach. You have various restaurants and bars that you can easily walk to, gas stations, groceries and liquor stores a short drive away. We knew that being Canucks we were going to have a $$$ trip, we paid just shy of $4,000 CAD for 7 days.2 pools are lovely. Great temperature, one currently has a leak (courtyard pool) but they were on top of it. Courtyard pool is more of a family/ senior vibe and the ocean front pool is more of a “younger crowd”. The BBQs are in great condition along with the pickle/tennis courts. The kayaks and SUP boards are in rough shape. You could always get a seat at either pools. We do not understand how they call this a “beach” very unfortunate how much of it has been washed away across seven mile beach in general. But this very small corner area of sand and you absolutely need water shoes to go into the water. Plantation village staff seemed unhappy which was sad to see. They helped, but never a smile.

This place is exactly as described! It is a great value in an incredible location. The pools are fantastic and the small beach they still have serves its purpose. If you are bougie, really particular, or want a big, white sanded beach out your back door, then 3-4X the lodging budget and stay further north on 7MI. My wife and two adult children loved all the restaurants, excursions, and great people we met. We walked everywhere to include restaurants, shops, beaches, and grocery stores! I used one of the beach cruisers with a basket several times, which was really helpful. While this place is great, Cayman is expensive. Everything is pretty similar to US prices, but you have to add 40% for a .2 conversion to US $ and tips. It is part of the deal and worth it! Just be prepared and enjoy Cayman! Maureen's place is great and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Place and location were great. Definitely needed to rent a car but great central location. The pool areas were nice due to beach erosion there is a small patch of sand but a great place to sip your morning coffee. Place was clean and spacious.

Maureen's unit was extremely clean and Plantation Village has a lot of amenities. The onsite office and maintenance staff are wonderful! The property provides free kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, and a lighted tennis court that is also marked off for Pickleball. You can walk to many restaurants and Camana Bay is about a 15 minute walk. If you do not rent a car I would suggest getting groceries when you leave the airport. Grocery stores are close but not walking distance. There are 2 pools, one is right out the back patio door from Maureen's unit, and a 2nd pool is oceanside. The pools are very nice and well maintained. The property is on the ocean but the beach is very small. They do provide chairs and umbrellas on the beach. I would suggest bringing swim shoes due to the rocks. There are nice sandy beaches close to the property. The property has a coin laundry room about 2 doors down from the unit. I would suggest Maureen's unit due to amenities, cleanliness, location, and value.

Beautiful condo in the best location! The staff was so friendly and it was manicured perfectly. This apartment is immaculate and convenient to walk to surrounding restaurants or hop on the bus to shop. It’s agreed with everyone in the group we’ll be back!

This is a lovely well equipped apartment (nicely furnished) in a great complex. Check in is via reception. There are two pools and beach/sea access. Great location with local bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to get public buses and car hire opposite. The apartment is spacious with loads of storage, very comfortable beds, dishwasher, microwave, hairdryer, large fridge- freezer with ice machine, snorkels and beach gear. Loads of towels and weekly housekeeping. Gas barbecues in the complex which worked well. Wasing up liquid and dishwasher tablets provided. Maureen was very responsive and friendly. We had a great time and would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you!

What a fabulous home away from home. Had everything we needed and was super convenient for all the local amenities. Maureen was responsive whenever I had any questions and so friendly. Will be back foe sure ❤️

PROS: Basically quiet, felt safe. Loud music til 2 a.m. our last night. Decent pools, well-maintained. Showers and kitchen items worked well. A/C good. Bed okay, soft. Pillows not super comfy but adequate. Loved lanai/furniture. Smelled fresh/clean. CONS: Tiny beach left after storms over the years. NOT "mere steps to the beach". It was maybe 10 x 30 ft when tide went out, littered with whatever washed up. Was told we could walk along the entire 7-mile beach. No, you can't. One broken beach chair in the closet. We had to buy a couple to use when we drove to a beach. Stains on sheet, hole in washcloth Dated facility. Washing machine in a common laundry area-pay 14 Cayman quarters/load. No mattress or pillow protectors from bedbugs which fortunately we had no bug issues at all. Black in a few corners of main bedroom (mold?) Had we known there really was no beach we'd have paid more and gone elsewhere. Felt deceived and disappointed. Property is misrepresented.

Maureen’s condo is beautiful and we want to thank you for sharing it with us. Our week there was amazing !! We took a kayak out one morning. The beach is beautiful but be aware the are LOTS of rocks for several feet - no fault of Maureen’s, Mother Nature and all the locals said recent storms but the water is clear and it is easy to get the kayak out. There are 2 well maintained and beautiful pools. We also walked to Coconut Joe’s, Peppers and Lone Star for Rock n Roll Bingo on Thursday. The condo is very clean and well maintained. Hope to be able to stay here again in the future !!! We absolutely loved the condo and Maureen provided plenty of garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels etc and plenty of bath towels for the week. Thank you Maureen

The accommodation was clean and well put together. There were adequate and clean linen and utensils for us guests. The location was central, safe, and generally appropriate for our needs.

If we revisit Cayman, we would be interested in this apartment.

No salt, pepper, kitchen, seasonings shampoo or conditioner, which is the first time I’ve ran into that at a Airbnb. I would go back. It was a nice place.

Plantation Village was an excellent stay. we are scuba divers and are only there to sleep or rest between dives. Economical stay in a well taken care of condo- everything worked well and was clean. the pool was refreshing when we had an hour to enjoy it. Not much beach along the property, but what is there is lovely. spotted a turtle and sting ray during a snorkel on our last last morning. excellent front staff.

The Pro's - This is a beautiful area and the pools and grounds are wonderful. Grand Cayman did not disappoint and there are many fabulous things to do nearby. Really nice to have two pools and the little beach area was small, but great for using the paddleboards. Close to gorgeous beaches and great restaurants. The Con's- However, arriving to a reservation with your family, after traveling all day, where the office is totally unaware in a different country is unnerving. Then the place hadn't been cleaned at all, dirty dishes, dirty bathroom, dirty floors, food crumbs on table, smelled like fried chicken. They did send a cleaner who changed the bedding but the place was never really clean. We wore our flip flops all the time because the floors were sticky and gross. The condo needs some updating and a deep cleaning. Stained toliet seat, rusty shower curtain and the tile grout is black. It would have been nice to have some kind of instruction sheet so we didn't have to ask for info.

Our unit was very nice. Both pools were great. Concierge staff was very helpful. We enjoyed using the free stand-up paddle boards in the ocean and rode the free bikes (with baskets) to the grocery store a couple times during our weeklong stay. Very walkable neighborhood with neat restaurants, bars, coffee, shops, etc. nearby.

Condo is very spacious, clean and kitchen well equipped. Enough space for 5-6 people. walkable distance to the beach, restaurants. Check-in was easy and host was responsive.

Absolutely loved the location! The easy access to a wonderful snorkeling spot was a huge plus. It's such a peaceful area, and the two pools were a nice touch, never overcrowded. The tiny private beach was a personal favorite, with beautiful fish and stunning sunsets - truly amazing.

Loved the property/pools/little beach. Loved being able to walk to restaurants/bars/grocery. Staff were very helpful and kind. We had a small problem with the tv , good communication with Maureen. She did all she could do to help out and gave us a little compensation for the inconvenience, which was not expected, but very appreciative. Definitely would stay again.

Maureen's place was very comfortable for our family of 5. We really appreciated that they provided both beach and bath towels and switched them out mid-stay. Resort had paddleboard, kayaks, and snorkel gear available for guests which was fantastic. Do not hesitate to reserve!

In Grand Cayman for a diving trip. Maureen’s place was comfortable, clean and convenient.

Great value for the money! Plantation Village has two nice pools (neither were crowded during our stay) and a small beach area that is great for sunset. (Because of erosion, the beach isn't wide like further up on Seven Mile Beach). This condo is set back from the busy road, but you can walk to a lot of restaurants within a few minutes, and everything at the Marriott is only two buildings away. Parking was plentiful during the day but could be harder to find returning home from dinner. The unit itself is spacious, comfortable, and has great AC. The kitchen is a bit dated and the knives, pots/pans could use some updating. We had to purchase basics (oil, salt/pepper, foil) since nothing is provided. Overall, a great stay and would recommend for small groups/families looking for something more casual than the big resorts.

We had a great stay at Maureen’s place. It was perfect for little kids - right next to the pool, twin beds in one bedroom, and a screened in porch. We loved the little private beach in the complex and used the free bikes to get groceries a couple of times (two grocery stores in biking distance and both are huge!). We frequented Coconut Joe’s and Peppers, and also got ice cream (all in walking distance). Also walked to the bigger area of the beach.

Because there was no one staying the night after us, Maureen accommodated a late check out. This was really helpful to us and our later flight!

All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we would come again in a heartbeat!

Great location. We walked to restaurants, grocery stores and points of interest. The public bus was easy to flag down $3.00 US to ride. Having the screened in porch (morning sun) was perfect from early morning having our breakfast till evening when we played cards. The beach on the property is small and not sandy in the water, but the perfect beach was only a short walk. Sunset was beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, washer and dryer available, quiet and clean. The pool was very close to our door from the porch. Ground floor was great for easy access. We would love to go back.

Overall a good and seamless experience. Maureene was responsive when we needed to connect and the staff at the resort were friendly and helpfull.

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. The kids swam in the pool or at the beach every day. We could walk to get something to eat or grab a coffee and the grocery store was a 5 minute drive down the road. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom setup was perfect for our family of 4. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Maureen's Airbnb. The place is as it looks in the photos, and it is spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and the outdoor screened-in patio that looked out over the pool was amazing. The place included plenty of beach towels, a cooler, tennis rackets, and snorkel gear. Check-in was easy at the main office. There was a mid-week clean of the place and fresh towels at that point too, which was great! The complex was lovely - two pools, BBQs (one really close to the apartment too!) and a tennis court. The location was fabulous for walking along Seven Mile, so you don't have to drive to go out to dinner, etc. if you don't want to.

One thing to note is that the beach along this stretch is no longer there, really, due to storms and the water level rising/the beach eroding away. There are about 8 beach chairs perched on the little stretch of beach, but it's very small and there are weeds/rocks in this part of the beach. We preferred walking/driving to other parts of the beach, where you get the quintessential soft, white Cayman sandy beach.

Maureen was super responsive and allowed us early check-in, which was wonderful!

We've given some feedback regarding including a few more basics in the house, so hopefully this will be considered. Also, Plantation Village (the complex) is no longer offering the Tuesday drinks by the pool/Monday breakfast (apparently due to Covid). This is no fault of Maureen's, but Plantation should really update their information!

Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location to lots of food places. Just a few steps away from the water on the beach and it’s extremely private and quite. The check in was easy. Will definitely recommend to others. Lovely place to stay while in the Caymans.

We had a great stay and we loved the location. So walkable with some really great shops and restaurants nearby. The airbnb was so clean and we all loved our beds. Had the best sleep. Being able to walk to a pretty private area of the beach was the icing on the cake. Thank you!

Plantation Village is a special place to me as I spent many summers with family and friends who’ve had timeshares there since the 80s. Loved being able to introduce my teens to one of my childhood hangouts. This ground floor unit has easy access to my favorite pool on the property, with its kid friendly shallow end, landscaped island in the middle, and many lounge chairs to layout on. Everything is well laid out on this property, from the overall site plan to the individual condos, PV has a great sense of place. Walking distance to many great bars and restaurants, this condo is great value for money even though this end of Seven Mile Beach has lost a lot of its beach sand in the past few years.

Highly recommend this condo. Location is great. It is nicely equipped, neat clean and very safe. We did not rent a car and had no trouble catching local buses or taxis from this location if it was too far to walk. We never cooked, but the dining around this condo is amazing. And I mean amazing! I would stay here again any day.

Very spacious condo, complex is lovely with two pool areas and beach frontage. Beach is a little rocky but can walk a short distance to nicer, sandy beach area. Condo was very clean and tidy and had all the basic necessities supplied for preparing simple meals if required. There is no washing machine in the unit itself but the shared laundry is just a few metres away in the complex. Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Onsite parking is great. This was one of the most affordable accomodation options on the island and we would highly recommend this condo for a stay.

This condo was perfect for our trip. The description and pictures were exactly as shown. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were great. This is, in our opinion, a great spot on 7 mile beach to be. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place, great amenities, fabulous location. Maureen answered my questions promptly and was very helpful. The check in was quick and easy. The kids loved the pool and made friends with other visitors. There are better places to snorkel than right from shore here, but the snorkeling right out the front door was pretty good. I can highly recommend this place to other families.

Thanks for a brilliant stay! Plantation Village is a perfect location, and this apartment is very well located within the development. Apartment- Decor is simple / not the most modern, but everything was very clean and tidy and was perfect for our needs. Bikes, paddle boards etc all free to use too.

Location is brilliant and perfect for a long walk down the beach and next to Ms Pipers situated in the Hampton by Hilton next door- amazing food and drink, live music and ambience. Can book on OpenTable too very easily. Recommend Icoa (5 min walk) for breakfasts! Sunday brunch at the Kimpton was brilliant if you’re looking for a boozy / foody treat- need to taxi there! Marriott also do brunch on Sundays which is just two minutes walk.

Check in - we didn’t know the specifics of what to do but we called the reception and we actually could check in from 1pm as the apartment was ready for us. Apartment just behind reception - very handy.

We checked out but used the shower at reception before our flight- reception were very nice to deal with.

Hope to be back in the future!

Had a wonderful trip with our teenage grandson. Accommodation was great as we had our own ensuite sleeping arrangements. Just a few steps from beach and snorkeling.

10 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes to Kirk or Foster’s which offer a huge selection of groceries, many nearby restaurants and activities.

Good location and comfortable place. The pools and grounds are kept great but be careful of the many mosquitos lurking. There are a handful of beach chairs on the beach near the property but it’s very small and rocky so you have to walk down for a larger and less rocky beach. Food is close by which is great and walking is easy and safe. The bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms so if you are staying in the common space, you have to walk into the bedrooms to use them.

Good location. Nice amenities in the compound - 2 pools, tennis courts, kayaks and bikes to borrow (although we didn’t).

Great place and location. Just be prepared as there is no washer/dryer in the unit. One will have to use the condo shared laundry facility. Both bedrooms are suites. There is no other restroom. If you are travelling with two couples, no problem. If you are in six, as we did - one will have to share. Aside from this, super price, super host location and amenities. The Marriot is just nearby - nice for breakfast, dining and booking sting ray city and other attractions.

This was a very nice to place to stay: very clean, quiet, safe, good location on 7-mile beach, 2 pools, etc. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware and plates/utensils, but bring spices, kitchen wrap and cooking oil(s), if you plan to do any cooking.

El departamento es muy comodo y super completo, tiene todos los accesorios necesarios. El problema mas grave es que NO TIENE SALIDA A LA PLAYA cuando en la publicación habla que esta en la playa (BEACH) de 7 Miles. Hay que caminar al menos 500 metros para acceder a una playa pública cuando TODOS los demas complejos tienen salida a la playa y SERVICIO DE PLAYA. La descripción DICE QUE ESTA EN LA PLAYA 7 MILES. NO TIENE PLAYA. A todos los que buscamos playa en este lugar (que creo que somos todos) NO NOS SIRVE QUE EL DEPARTAMENTO SEA HERMOSO SI NO TIENE PLAYA. La pileta que da al mar no se podia usar del olor a podrido que habia por el sargazo QUE SOLO HABIA EN ESTE CONDOMINIO, en todos los demas no habia. El supermercado mas cercano esta a unas 15 cuadras. Tengan mucho cuidado con contratar excursiones y taxis, en ambas situaciones tuvimos que llamar porque se olvidan y te dejan sin problema plantado. Los precios son el doble que en miami (para tener una comparación). Las playas SON UN PARAÍSO, atardece en el mar y es un espectáculo único. Por eso no recomiendo este condominio porque lo único importante que tiene Cayman son sis playas. Me subir poner todas las fotos que tengo que avalan todo lo que escribo pero la aplicación no deja.

Great location right off of 7 mile beach. Everything was walking distance and bus fees were cheap if needed to go further.

This is a super location on Seven Mile Beach. The unit is very clean and comfortable with everything furnished and set up. Communication with the host was excellent. Access to restaurants, supermarket and beaches was great. Plantation Village has a very professional staff. This is truly a 5 star place and I recommend it without hesitation.

We enjoyed the condo very much, this place is an awesome unit at a fair price. We used the kayaks and paddle boards daily, we brought our own snorkel gear, but I did notice the unit did have gear to use too. The check in was very easy (the girl working the office was great) and the unit was very clean. Thank you

We had an amazing first time on Grand Cayman! Loved how close the unit was to the pool. Excellent view of sunset from the Oceanside pool! Great location for walking to nearby restaurants.

If you’re looking for a central location along 7 Mile Beach, this is the place. It’s close to good restaurants and bars. The space is great and pretty clean for the most part. The pool and grounds are well kept. The host was great and responded quickly to our needs.

If you're a family that likes to use Kayaks, Paddleboards, the equipment at Plantation Village is easy to access and fantastic. There are also several bikes in good condition. Check out snorkeling at the artificial reef about 200 yards to the left of the property, or go another 200 yards further to the small ship wreck right at shore. We found a green moray eel tucked in the bow of the shipwreck, amazing! Easy walk to great food options, we especially enjoyed Peppers for a nice sit down meal and the two shacks at the next road. Cafe Del Sol has good coffee and food options as well. The condo is well stocked for cook at home, and western facing porch is nice in the afternoon. There was a Monday breakfast at the sea wall, and Tuesday evening food and music which were great surprise additions.

This is a great family place to stay. Our family had an amazing time.

This is a residential community. The pool closes at 10 PM, no exceptions. School goes year round in the Cayman's, so you can not make any noise in the evenings. If it's a rainy night people go to bed at 7 PM. We were on the patio talking and security came at 10 PM because someone complained. So it just depends on what you want for your vacation. Otherwise, this unit is great. Its on the lower level next to the pool. It has evrything you will need. However, there is NO beach left here at all. What is there is very rocky. So if you want the beach, Plantation Village is not the place to stay.

I booked this unit 6 months prior to arrival for a 22 night stay. Our 1st priority in choosing a property for such a long holiday was for a sandy beach so the kids could run in and out of the water. My very first question to the host was “Is your property on a sandy part of the beach or is it coral?” and the reply from the host was “we are in the sandy area”. I then looked up a satellite map which showed a tiny beach so I again asked Maureen for clarification that it was indeed a sandy run in beach. Maureen went on to say that the beach was damaged by storm Michael but “is coming back nicely”. The reality is that this is totally and Unequivocally untrue. I can’t tell you how shocked and utterly disappointed we were to find out that we had been deceived and misled. The beach at the development is approx. 27 feet long, in reality its really more of a very small cove as is completely enclosed with no access to 7 mile beach and it is very difficult to actually get into the water due to alot of large boulders and rocks at the waters edge. There are approx. 15 sun loungers at this “beach” and 5 of these are reserved for the neighbouring development. The photo on the advert is of not of the beach at the property but rather the famous 7 mile beach! There are no photos posted of the beach at the property and once you get there its very apparent why they have been left out the advert! The unit itself was spotlessly clean with nice comfy beds however there were many problems during our stay. We had no water at all for 1 day followed by 2 days of no hot water, there was an electrical shock from the ring on the cooker which was replaced during our stay. I filled the blender with milk and ice cream to make a smoothie for the kids and that did not work, I then put popcorn in the microwave and that didn’t work either, there was no kettle had to boil water in a saucepan for a cup of tea, the hairdryer was not working either. I went to the onsite office each time to report the issues and I have to say that the office staff are extremely nice, pleasant and most helpful and sorted out all the condo issues with a smile, nothing was a problem for them. I felt so bad having to bother them so many times that I gave them a bunch of flowers upon departure! The grounds are really nice and beautifully maintained with 2 lovey pools. This was my 1st time using Airbnb instead of a hotel and I have to say it was not a pleasant experience. I booked so far in advance, asked the relevant questions to ensure that we were getting the holiday that we wanted but the hard truth is that I was misled and not given factual information. Grand Cayman is really beautiful with miles of sandy beaches and lots and lots of properties located with access to that picture perfect beach photo used to advertise this property. I have asked Maureen to post a photo of her beach in addition to the 7 mile beach photo. I think its only fair. I take no joy in having to write this review but I do hope it may help someone else to choose a property where beach access is the No 1 priority.

I was so glad we found this! During our week here, we looked around the island and decided that the south half of 7 Mile Beach was the best place for us to stay. We loved the location of this place! It was very clean, close to the beach and loved being able to use the paddle boards and kayaks that are included. I highly recommend this place.

Kitchen stocked well great beds they did provide a beach towel and snorkels in closet.

Great value apartment in a convemnient location on Seven Mile Beach. Really clean and comfortable. Resort is very well maintained with 2 good pools.

Mark and Maureen’s place awesome. We will continue to use the same unit. So convenient to everything and so clean. It was an amazing experience.

Place was outstanding for our family, pool right out the back patio was ideal when the kids were excited to swim. Kitchen was perfect for what we needed, we used it quite a bit as the island is expensive to eat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something on the beach and looking for some room to spread out.

Very convenient location to 7 mile beach restaurants and grocery stores. The location of the unit with a walk out the back door to the pool and a short walk to the ocean is great. If you are looking for a wider section of beach for the day you can rent beach chairs close by at royal palms. This was a great place for us to stay with our 13 year old so everyone could have their own bedroom/space. The complex has very clean outdoor grills close to the unit and an area to clean dive gear. We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved the location and amenities of Mark's place at Plantation Village. The office staff was amazing! Location was perfect.

This condo was perfectly situated on 7 Mile Beach to access lots of restaurants, shopping and the other beach areas. It is absolutely the best value on the island.

Place was as described, there were only two items of disappointment: 1) The beach is very small and people “reserved” chairs the night before. Additionally, the ocean floor in this area is very rocky making it difficult to even walk into the water. 2) We had an afternoon flight and asked to pay to extend checkout for a couple hours as there were no bookings for 2 days, our request was denied and the maid showed up at 9:45am and waited outside our room and knocked promptly again at 10am sharp.

Spotlessly clean and extremely spacious condo - met our requirements perfectly.

Great value, location, and place overall! Ideal location for walking into town for dinner and shopping, to the grocery store, or along 7 mile beach. Condo itself was neat, clean, and organized, and is situated very close to one of the pools. Pools were lovely, quiet, and easy to find lounge chairs at any time of day. Beach at the condo complex was small with 15-20 lounge chairs, and fairly rocky, which is fine for a few hours of sunbathing. If wanting to do a full beach day I recommend walking for 10-minutes down 7 mile beach to the Royal Palm Beach Club where you can rent umbrellas for $15 and lounge chairs for $12 daily. You can also order food and drink from servers that walk around there, or go up to the bar area and order. Our favorite restaurants on the island were Peppers, Luca, and Da Fish Shack.

We have been to Cayman many times, but this was our first time staying at Plantation village. We had fabulous communication with Maureen. She quickly responded to any questions I asked and when weather delays caused us to miss two days of our vacation she generously extended our stay by a day to make up for some of our loss! I couldn't be more grateful for her hospitality. The condo is very well furnished and is located right in the heart of seven mile beach. It is walking distance to many restaurants. Check in was simple and because our flight was several hours after checkout time we were able to spend the day relaxing on the beach then used the offices changing rooms and shower to get ready for our flight home. We hope to be back soon!

We Enjoyed plantation village very much. Very spacious and clean. Close to many things but we always rent a car when we come to Grand Cayman. Property was so beautiful & clean. Only downfall was the beach area for plantation village wasn’t very big and was somewhat rocky. Nothing anyone can help. Doesn’t matter much because there a tons of beach access nearby!! We snorkeled wreck of the Gamma and cemetery beach! Great spots. Stingray city is a 200% must do. Went to rum point a couple times it’s great also. Thanks for a great stay!

Great property. My family and I had a great time. P.S Peppers is a Jamaican Restaurant. Welly's is excellent and I also heard of Mango Tree which I didn't get to try. Nice apartment. We will visit again but only when the beach sand is back on the property. Thank you.

Great location on Seven Mile Beach in nicely landscaped property. Screened-in porch a great place to spend when not out and about. Very clean and kitchen great for cooking breakfast or any meal. Plus that gas bar-b-qs close to unit.

We really enjoyed our time in Mark's condo at Plantation Village. We looked at lot of Seven Mile Beach resorts like Plantation Village, and we were VERY pleased with our choice. Grounds and unit are well kept, private, quiet & relaxing. We enjoyed relaxing in the screened in porch, by the pools, the cozy beach, using the bikes & kayaks etc. Mark's condo was very comfortable and had everything you needed in the kitchen. We are definitely hoping to return sooner than later. The Tuesday Eve music and party (hosted by the Plantation Village office) was very fun and watching the sunset every night just a few steps toward the ocean was great.

This was a great experience! With this rental my family was very comfortable for my sisters destination wedding. There were plans for the bridesmaids to get dressed in another Air BnB they rented but it ended up being not a condo (like the listing stated) but more like a bedroom. My sister was so disappointed but when I brought her to Mark's place for them to get ready, her words "This is perfect!". A 3 minute walk from the bridal hotel accomodations and a nice restaurant we went to about 4 times "Coconut Joes". Oh and we had an awesome time with the free paddle board s, kayaks, snokeling gear, and the bikes. We went on a bunch of adventures. A trip to remember 5 stars!

Great place to live, easy access to beach and really friendly service, would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
